T.H.E. Enterprises Postpones
T.H.E. New York International Audio Show
New York, NY, September 16, 2026 - T.H.E. Enterprises announces that the T.H.E. New York International Audio Show, originally scheduled for September 25–27, 2026, is being postponed due to significant fire safety concerns raised regarding the contracted venue.
"We raised serious fire safety concerns that we believed warranted immediate attention - the kind any responsible organizer must address before welcoming thousands of people into a building as we’ve been doing for 30 years now. We expected our partner to work with us to address and resolve our concerns. Instead, the venue chose to terminate our contract.” said Emiko E. Carlin, CEO of T.H.E. Enterprises, parent company of T.H.E. New York International Audio Show. Carlin went on to remark, “We were stunned, and are incredibly upset on behalf of the exhibitors and attendees who are counting on us. T.H.E. Enterprises' position is crystal clear: no show, no date, nothing is worth a single person's safety. We are not walking away from this event or from our community. We are protecting them by postponing this show. When putting on an event of this size, that is our job, and we take it more seriously than anything. Therefore, the right thing to do is to seek a new venue and dates as quickly as possible to ensure we can host T.H.E. New York International Audio Show safely for everyone.”
Immediately after receiving the venue's decision,
T.H.E. Enterprises opened discussions with multiple alternative venues in the area. The team is actively negotiating and will announce confirmed dates as soon as they are finalized.

All ticket purchases will be honored at the new venue and dates

Exhibitor commitments will carry forward to the new venue and dates
As this is a developing, ongoing legal matter, no further commentary will be made at this time.
