Introducing T.H.E. TV,
a new network focused on HiFi, Home Theater, Music, and Film, available in
2025 globally on ROKU.

Official Press Release and
Broadcast Schedule coming in Q1
of 2025!

Happy 2025, Everyone!

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! 2025 has kicked off for us with a lot to celebrate.  We are into the second season of submissions for T.H.E. Film Festival already, with over 20 film finalists that will be screened live at T.H.E. Lone Star Audiofest and at T.H.E. Show SoCal.

Additionally, we are getting closer to the launch of T.H.E. TV, a new network dedicated to HiFi, Home Theater, Music and Film, which will be available globally on ROKU, which means we are even closer to announcing our broadcast programming for this!

Between T.H.E. TV, T.H.E. Film Festival, T.H.E. Lone Star Audiofest, T.H.E. SoCal, and T.H.E. New York International Audio Show, when our Las Vegas venue called us a little while ago to inform us of major construction that had been advanced on site, the decision was made to push T.H.E. Las Vegas to 2026. The venue made Herculean efforts to accommodate us despite the impending construction, but after much consideration, the venue just wouldn't be fit for use and the potential for component damage (dust everywhere, jackhammers, etc) supported our mutual decision to push to the following year. That being said, 2026 will be our 30th anniversary so it will be very fitting to kick off the year in Las Vegas where T.H.E. Show originated.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all this year in Austin, SoCal, and New York - as well as on TV worldwide!

T.H.E. Film Festival is Coming in 2025

T.H.E. Show Expands to Include T.H.E. Film Festival to Support Filmmakers

T.H.E. Enterprises, the owner of America's longest running HiFi show (T.H.E. Show) is pleased to announce a new initiative – T.H.E. Film Festival – to be held in conjunction with each of its upcoming HiFi shows.

With the vast expansion into home theater, surround sound, immersive 360 audio, and commercial audio and theater experiences, T.H.E. is delighted to now support filmmakers, content creators, and musicians alike who make their passions into their life's work.

T.H.E. Film Festival will be an expansion of T.H.E. Show’s normal operations, which will add a dedicated theater for movie screenings and an awards ceremony. The high-end audio and home theater exhibits attendees have been accustomed to experiencing at T.H.E. Show are not changing.

T.H.E.’s goal is to unite movie creators, movie buffs, audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts in a never before combined exhibition of movie screenings with high-end audio and video equipment.

“T.H.E. has a long history of supporting technology, industry, and art over the past 29 years. What has become evident to us from important ongoing dialogue with our existing and new audiences is that supporting creators of the work we love to experience in audio and home cinema is more vital now than ever. For T.H.E., it’s all about supporting the source. If the creation of new art is stifled, what will we listen to and enjoy or our systems? This is an opportunity for us to serve not just the HiFi and Home Theater community but also the creative community so everyone can reap significant benefits.” remarked Emiko E. Carlin, CEO of T.H.E. Enterprises and President of T.H.E. Show.

Carlin further stated, “Options in HiFi and Home Theater are becoming more easily attainable, and with that, T.H.E. recognizes a rise in trade shows dedicated to the hobby. While we celebrate the growth of the industry, T.H.E.’s aim is to distinguish our events by expanding beyond the traditional (or typical) trade show experience. Our goal is to serve a diverse range of people, communities, and industries, offering something memorable and special for all who attend a T.H.E. event, without losing sight of what makes HiFi and Home Theater so wonderful. We want to be more than just another show - we are here to enrich entire experiences for enthusiasts and professionals alike.”

T.H.E. Show Acquires New York Audio Show from Chester Group

T.H.E. New York International Audio Show is coming October 24-26, 2025

Los Angeles, CA - T.H.E. Enterprises, the owner of America's longest-running HiFi show (T.H.E. Show) has acquired the New York Audio Show from the Chester Group. Under new ownership, the renamed and reimagined event, T.H.E. New York International Audio Show, will carry on the tradition of showcasing ultra-high-end audio solutions to audiophiles in the Eastern Seaboard from October 24-26, 2025.

Statement from Roy Bird, Founder of the Chester Group:

The saying goes that there is the right time for everything, and that can happen when

there’s a unique meeting of minds. Circumstantially Emiko and her team was that

meeting of minds, as we shared a solid perspective of how we can both move forward

to achieve our individual objectives. For me, in my eighth decade and having been an

organizer of shows and events for most of my life, and having spent a very enjoyable 25

years in the audio industry, the time is right for someone else to carry the baton.

This is not about money it’s about legacy of which I’m very proud, as this can be a tough

and combative industry at times – but more importantly it respects a dear and departed

friend; Richard Beers, who was instrumental in us pioneering the New York Audio Show

way back in 2012 at the Waldorf Hotel no less. He was a friend of the family and we

shared the ups and downs of show organization (not to mention the odd cold beer) and I

know that Emiko and her family also have close and dear connections as well.

So I am 100% sure about T.H.E. Show’s ethos, determination and trustworthiness, so

handing over the New York Audio Show to them, is easy and a special privilege.

I do intend to stay for a while though whilst things are taken over, as I do not want this to

be seen as an unemotional departure, far from it as I have made many friends en-route.                    Roy Bird, Founder of the Chester Group

Finally, I want to thank my son Justin for bearing with me when the going got tough,

especially post Covid as he has become a most proficient and productive show

organizer and sales manager.

Statement from Emiko E. Carlin, CEO and Owner of T.H.E. Enterprises:

We are delighted to be adding the New York Audio Show to our portfolio family. The

New York Show has been a long, respected annual event for HiFi, high-end audio, and

music lovers. Having spent time with Roy and learning his history with our founder, the

late and beloved Richard Beers, this is not only a wonderful path forward, but it seems

to be a natural one. We believe wholeheartedly that with this coming-together, we will

be able to serve the audio industry and community in greater ways. Moreover, we are

grateful that the Chester Group has put their trust in us to carry forward the torch of the

New York Audio Show into the future, and I know that all of us involved strive to do our

very best to make sure music and audio reach as many people as possible through our

initiatives. We would like to thank Roy Bird and his son Justin for all their hard work in

building and bringing the New York audio show to life thus far. This is a very exciting

moment for audio and HiFi and we hope you will all join us in celebration and participate

in this journey.                                                                                                                                                      Emiko E. Carlin, CEO T.H.E. Enterprises,

                                                                                                                                                                                                                         President. T.H.E. Show

Now in its 29th year, T.H.E. Show, which historically held annual HiFi events on the west coast, expands eastward to Austin, Texas and now New York.

T.H.E. Show previously announced a new initiative with Lone Star Audiofest, which is coming to Austin, Texas, May 2-4, 2025.

This past June, T.H.E. Show SoCal showcased over 190 of the finest audio brands in the world in Costa Mesa, California to the delight of thousands of attendees. T.H.E. Show SoCal returns to the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa from June 6-8, 2025.

The inaugural T.H.E. New York International Audio Show is set for October 24-26, 2025.

About Chester Group:

The Chester Group continues to organize three shows in the U.K. and has never been afraid to pioneer new shows outside of the U.K., most of which continue to this day. They are also dedicated to greater cooperation with other organizers in the best interests of the industry.
